Successful people understand the power of producing things instead of just being consumers. People who are wealthy do not constantly think of what they can buy; instead, they are thinking of how they can cut out the middle man. The best thing you can do is assess the products and practices you love and, instead of trying to find ways to make more money so that you can purchase more of those, begin to think of ways you can produce them yourself. Do you like to juice? Buy a juicer and juice on the side. Love to workout? Train your friends and see if you can get a few clients on the side. Love clothes? Start a fashion blog or start finding ways to produce your own clothing. If you have this mentality, not only will you be able to generate income from something you love, you can possibly make a career out of your passion.
1. Analyze what you spend the most time and money on. Can your passions make you money? If you had a chance, would you do it for a living?
2. Become an expert! Learn more about what you love and enjoy. Do research! Get curious and ask questions.
3. Identify the plug. Even if you’re not in the position to cut out the middle man just yet, it’s always a good idea to know the sources of the products you consume!
