My name is Chelsea Coffey, and I am the founder of the Houston based nonprofit Mia’s Closet. After several years of producing events for children in the Houston area, we couldn’t be more excited to announce our very first fundraiser! Please join us as we clear the runway at Ronin Art House for ten fabulous kiddos k-12 who will be strutting their stuff, Friday, December 11th!
Each of our school-age models will meet his or her mentor at our mentor/mentee shopping trip to the Galleria on December 9th. Mentor will double as a personal stylists and shop with the models to pull their looks for the fashion show, followed by a group dinner. The show Friday is the big finale.
Join us in being a part of helping these kids feel like the superstars they are by cheering them on during the show as they walk the runway. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, all funds raised will go towards our 2016 initiatives to create a Mia’s Closet/Niko’s Locker curriculum, to offer workshops to increase engagement, and to build a financially sustainable model to continue empowering kids in need of a boost in their confidence and self-worth.
Spread the word, tell a friend! So looking forward to seeing you there!

Special thanks to our sponsors Ronin Art House, The Influencers, and Indigo Oak Collective for their roles in making this event a reality for our kids! ❤
